Add your name: fix end of life care in Scotland
Across Scotland, many terminally ill people are dying without the care and support they need. They're missing out because of factors outside of their control: like poverty, where they live, who they are, or what their diagnosis is. We simply can’t let this continue.
There is no excuse: the next Scottish Government must make sure that palliative care is a right, not a privilege.
Delivering the Right to Palliative Care will make sure that all terminally ill people across Scotland, and those who care for them, are able to understand and access the care and support that they need. It will mean that everyone is able to live their life well, until the very end.
But to get there, all political parties need to act to make sure whoever wins the Scottish Parliament election commits to, and delivers, a right to palliative care for everyone in Scotland.
