Help people die in peace, not A&E

Sign up for campaign updates

Few people want to spend their final days in the unfamiliar, often overwhelming surroundings of a hospital. Yet, for too many families, this is the reality, as they find themselves in crisis with nowhere else to turn. It's shocking that too many dying people end up unnecessarily in A&E when with the right care, they could be safely at home.

At Marie Curie, we want to see a world where people receive proper 24/7 palliative and end of life care support in every community, better out of hours care, and services that give people comfort, dignity, peace, and support in their final days, weeks, and months.

But we can't do this without thousands of people campaigning alongside us.

📢 Will you join us, and help make sure dying people and their families get the care they need closer to home?

By signing up, you'll hear the latest from our campaigns, and stay up to date with how we’re working to change end of life care across the UK.
